A quick guide to what to do when you arrive and how to navigate the park
Start Here
- Quick Visit (up to 15 mins)
- Park at PS (Lookout parking)
- No registration required
- Ideal for photos and a short stops
- No access to amenities
- Stay Longer
- Drive to the boom gate (P1 or P2)
- Scan the QR code to open the gate
- Follow the prompts (usually takes a minute or two)
- Gate opens automatically
- Park and choose your picnic area
No booking required — just arrive and follow the steps above.

- P1–P5 = Visitor parking (QR entry at gate)
On The View – West (Open)
This is the main open section of the park.
Lookout
- Located at western entrance
- Short-term 15-mins parking only
- No amenities access
Enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and the Glasshouse Mountains from Mooloolaba to Mt Beerwah and Woodford.
Picnic Areas (Longer visits)
For a more relaxed visit:
- Access via QR at the gate (see above)
- Park at P1 or P2
You’ll have access to:
- Picnic areas
- Amenities
- Walking paths and viewpoints
On The View – East (Opening soon)
This area will operate the same way as West:
- QR code entry
- Picnic areas, parking, and amenities
It’ll feature:
- A different perspective of the Glasshouse Mountains
- Access to rainforest walks and rock pools
On The View – North (Opening soon)
Designed for scenic viewing short visits and meal stops.
Will feature:
- Expansive 180° views from Mt Ninderry to Aura
- Magnificent views of Mt Coolum, Ewen Maddock Dam, and the ocean
